The 2016 election season is now in full swing! Read on for important updates to this year’s timeline.
The Organization for Transformative Works is pleased to announce the following candidates for the 2016 Election (in alphabetical order by given name):
- James Beal
- Kristina Busse
- Priscilla Del Cima
Because we have 2 seats to be filled and 3 candidates, the 2016 election will be contested – that is, the members of OTW will vote on which candidates fill the seats.
The 2016 timeline for the Board election has been posted!
If you’re familiar with the timing of elections in the past, things have changed a bit. In order to avoid conflicts with other OTW events, the Elections Committee is moving the election forward, and this will occur in two stages. This year the election will take place on September 23-26. Our plan is for next year’s election to be held in August, where it should stay for the foreseeable future.
If you’re interested in voting, you will need to become a member at least one month prior to the election. Please read how to become a member for more information. You can also check out the resources we have with other information for voters.
We’re looking forward to an active election season with ample communication between candidates and voters, and we hope you’ll be a part of it. Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter to keep up to date with the latest news!
